Filmoplast is a self-adhesive and tear-away embroidery stabilizer that is used to secure fabrics that cannot or should not be hooped directly in the embroidery hoop. It is ideal for pressure-sensitive materials such as corduroy or velvet, very thick fabrics such as wool felt, garments with different thicknesses and small appliqués. The stabilizer is clamped in the middle of the embroidery hoop with the checked side facing up. After removing the backing paper, the adhesive side is exposed, onto which the fabric to be embroidered is then glued. After embroidering, the embroidery can be carefully removed towards the center. The stabilizer can be reused several times for identical motifs.
