A comprehensive summary of all the important product details: Filmoplast® is a self-adhesive and tear-away embroidery backing that is used for fusing delicate or difficult fabrics such as corduroy, velvet, thick wool felt or small blanks. It consists of a non-woven fabric with polyacrylate adhesive and measures 50 cm x 4.9 m. For machine embroidery, it is clamped in the center of the embroidery hoop with the checkered backing paper side facing up. The backing paper is then removed, the fabric glued on and embroidered. After embroidering, the motif is torn from the Filmoplast® towards the center. The stretched Filmoplast® can be used several times for the same motifs.
