The Semplix Patchwork Starter Set brings fresh colors and practical tools to your sewing and work table. It contains everything you need for the perfect start to patchworking.

Special features of the cutting mat

The edge allowance ensures that you can make optimum use of the entire 45 x 30 cm / 18 x 12 inch scale. Circumferential markings enable precise positioning and cutting right up to the edge. The high-contrast white scales make it easy to measure quickly, even with transparent rulers.

The back of the mat has an additional inch scale so you can easily translate instructions into inches. The robust, self-healing material surface protects your work surface and the blade, while the silk matt coating keeps the fabric securely in place.

Care instructions:

• Do not iron the mat or expose it to direct heat or sunlight
• Store flat, do not roll up
• Straight blade guide extends the service life of the mat

Rotary cutter

The rotary cutter is suitable for left and right-handed users and has a flexible protective cover that can be easily adjusted. It cuts up to 8 layers of fabric, felt, leather or paper with precision and is equipped with a freely rotating blade that can be used forwards and backwards.

Patchwork ruler

The Plexiglas patchwork ruler included in the set is 2.5 mm thick and ideal for precise cutting markings at 30°, 45° and 60°. The double-sided scaling is suitable for light and dark fabrics and ensures exact measurements.

Prym Aqua-Trickmarker

The water-soluble aqua trick marker can be easily removed with water or a damp cloth after sewing or quilting. It draws particularly fine lines in turquoise and is perfect for temporary markings.

Prym pins and sewing needles

• Glass head pins: heat-resistant, yellow heads, 43 mm long, 20 g content
• Goldöhr sewing needles: Sizes 3-7, half-length, 20 pieces
