The Semplix Polka Dots sewing basket is perfect for storing small handicraft and sewing utensils. The outside of the basket is covered with softly padded cotton fabric in the colors petrol and turquoise, while the inside is in a plain shade of grey. A removable plastic insert with two long and six small compartments provides space for sorting needles, buttons, markers or spools of thread. In the lower basket area there is plenty of space for larger sewing utensils that have not found a place at the top. A round pincushion and a small fabric pocket are sewn into the underside of the lid to match the outer fabric design, providing additional storage space for scissors, measuring tape and more. The firm, solid base with four plastic feet ensures stability and protects the underside from dirt and damage. The handle and edges are decorated with wickerwork, giving the basket a special charm. There is a practical measuring tape around the lid for quick measuring in between. The basket is closed with a magnetic latch. The baskets in the Semplix collection are practical and attractive and should not be missing in any sewing room.
