Semplix ThermoStrong (0.50 x 5 m, heat-soluble embroidery film, transparent)

ThermoStrong is a special film that dissolves with heat during ironing. The transparent and perforated film is particularly suitable for badge embroidery as the motif can be easily and cleanly torn out or cut off. Unlike water-soluble films, ThermoStrong can also be used on water-sensitive fabrics such as velvet or corduroy.

This stabilizer ensures a clean embroidery pattern even on delicate fabrics without the material losing its soft feel.

Instructions for badge and logo embroidery:

• Cut the ThermoStrong slightly larger than the embroidery hoop so that the material can be stretched.
• Depending on the embroidery design and size, use several layers of film: With one layer, the smooth side is on top. With two layers, the rough sides are placed on top of each other. With three layers, the rough side lies on the smooth side of the second layer.
• Embroider patterns.
• After embroidering, press the finished motif out of the foil or cut it out.
• Set the ironing temperature to level 2, carefully increase to level 3 if necessary.
• Melt away any remaining foil with circular movements of the iron. Do not hold the iron on the spot.

Embroidery of fine and elastic fabrics:

• Place ThermoStrong under the fabric and stretch both tightly together in the embroidery hoop.
• After embroidering, carefully tear off the excess foil or cut it off close to the edge.
• Melt away any residue as described above.
